One day ahead of the 2025 World Games Noah looks at all the poach blocks that occurred at the 2022 World Games and categorises them so you can learn all the different ways it’s possible to poach.
This drill trains the offence how to react to being face marked. Simón Ramírez Ortiz (from Furious George and the Colombian WG 2025 team) introduces a progression of exercises which trains your players to be familiar with facemarking, and how to make the “German” pass that beats it. It climaxes with a 2v2 facemarking game that players love, then an extra section about how German passes can be used to initiate dribbling.
